SpeakIM ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy explicitly explains how our mobile application and website handle information.

1. Zero Personal Data Collection & 100% On-Device Processing

• No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, harvest, store, transmit, or share your messages, contacts, notifications, voice samples, or personal identity.
• Local Audio Synthesis: All notification inspection and Text-to-Speech (TTS) audio synthesis runs entirely inside your Android device memory using system native engines.
• No Cloud Servers or Telemetry: SpeakIM operates with zero external tracking servers, zero third-party analytics SDKs, and zero advertising trackers.

2. Android System Permissions & Usage

• android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE: Used strictly to detect incoming notifications from chat apps you enable and convert the sender and text into audio. Notifications are never saved or sent over the internet.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Used to manage audio focus and duck background music during speech playback.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display service status.

3. Third-Party Services

SpeakIM contains no third-party tracking libraries, advertising SDKs, or analytics trackers.
